The match, held at Edgbaston Cricket Ground in Birmingham, saw India Champions winning the toss and opting to field. Pakistan Champions posted a formidable score of 243 for 4 in their 20 overs. Key contributions came from Kamran Akmal and Sharjeel Khan, who scored 77 and 72 runs respectively, while Shoaib Maqsood added a blistering 51 runs off just 26 balls. Shahid Afridi was dismissed for a duck, and Shoaib Malik remained unbeaten on 25 runs. Among the Indian bowlers, RP Singh, Anureet Singh, Dhawal Kulkarni, and Poon Negi each took a wicket.
