ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 Warm-up Match Schedule Announced

The schedule for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 warm-up matches has been unveiled, spanning from May 27th to June 1st across venues in the USA and Trinidad and Tobago.

The matches will take place at esteemed cricket grounds including the Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium in Texas, Broward County Stadium in Florida, and the Queen’s Park Oval and Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad and Tobago.

In total, 17 teams will participate in these warm-up games, with South Africa engaging in an intra-squad match on May 29th in Florida.

A highlight of the event is the open match between the West Indies and Australia at Queen’s Park Oval on May 30th, welcoming fans to witness the action firsthand. Tickets can be purchased online at tickets.t20worldcup.com or at designated box offices.

Notably, these warm-up fixtures will consist of 20 overs per side and won’t carry international T20 status, allowing teams to utilize their full 15-player squad. A change from previous practice, teams now have the option to play up to two warm-up matches, depending on their arrival schedule.

Monday, May 27:

  • Namibia vs Uganda, Brian Lara Cricket Academy, Trinidad and Tobago, 7:00 PM

Tuesday, May 28:

  • Sri Lanka vs Netherlands, Broward County Stadium, Florida, 10:30 AM
  • Bangladesh vs USA, Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium, Texas, 10:30 AM
  • Australia vs Namibia, Queen’s Park Oval, Trinidad and Tobago, 7:00 PM

Wednesday, May 29:

  • South Africa Intra-squad, Broward County Stadium, Florida, 10:30 AM
  • Afghanistan vs Oman, Queen’s Park Oval, Trinidad and Tobago, 1:00 PM

Thursday, May 30:
