The much-anticipated clash between India and Pakistan in the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup, originally slated for October 15, has been rescheduled to occur in Ahmedabad on October 14 (Saturday). The match has been rescheduled due to a clash with the first day of Navratri, a widely celebrated festival in Gujarat. Security agencies recommended the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to adjust the schedule.

In the initial stage of the tournament, a minor alteration affects the timing of England’s match against Bangladesh in Dharamsala. The match has changed from a day-night game to a day match with a 10:30 AM (local time) start.
Towards the conclusion of the league stage, there are three changes to the schedule. The double-header games on Sunday, November 12 have been moved a day earlier to Saturday, November 11.
