From football fields to film sets: Ronaldo’s Surprising career move

Cristiano Ronaldo, one of the world’s most iconic footballers, is making a bold leap from the pitch to the big screen with the launch of a new Hollywood production company, URMarv. The venture is a collaboration with acclaimed director Matthew Vaughn, known for his work on the Kingsman film series.

Ronaldo, who already commands influence in industries like fashion, fragrances, and luxury watches, is now expanding his global brand into the world of film. The new studio aims to merge Ronaldo’s massive international following with Vaughn’s storytelling prowess, creating a unique fusion of sports and entertainment.

The announcement was made through Ronaldo’s social media, where he expressed his excitement about the new journey. “This marks an exciting new chapter for me as I explore new ventures in business,” he posted on X (formerly Twitter).

Ronaldo’s influence in the digital realm was on full display last August, when he launched a YouTube channel that broke records — amassing 10 million subscribers in just 90 minutes.

Director Matthew Vaughn shared his excitement about working with the football star, saying: “Cristiano has lived experiences on the field that I could never imagine writing. I’m thrilled to collaborate with him to bring inspiring stories to life — he’s a real-life hero.”

Through URMarv, the duo plans to produce compelling global narratives, marking the start of a groundbreaking alliance between a sports icon and a cinematic creator.
