Former Indian cricketer David Johnson, aged 52, tragically passed away after falling from the balcony of his apartment in Kanaka Sri Layout, Kothanur. The incident, which occurred while his family members were present, has prompted a police investigation to determine whether it was a suicide. Reports suggest Johnson had been struggling with depression and health issues recently.
Johnson, who ran a cricket academy in his hometown, leaves behind a wife and two children. He was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital after falling from the fourth floor. His sudden demise has sparked an outpouring of grief from the cricketing community in India, with players like Anil Kumble and Gautam Gambhir expressing their condolences.
