female student passed away following a severe head injury sustained during a judo Competition in mardan, kP

MARDAN: In an unfortunate turn of events, the female competitor, identified as the courageous Fizza from Peshawar, experienced a dramatic decline in her head after a powerful blow to her head during a competition. With great urgency, skilled rescue workers rushed to her aid, administering CPR to desperately revive her. despite their efforts, the medical professionals at the Mardan Hospital, with heavy hearts she was declared dead upon her arrival.

The relevant authorities of the sports administration mentioned that students, including the young female victim, representing various schools and colleges across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had travelled to the competition venue on Saturday to participate in Judo Competitions taking place from March 3 to 8, aimed to showcase the talents and skills of the participants. They are currently in communication with parents to arrange for the return of the deceased’s body for proper funeral rites and support during this difficult time.

PSL to refund fee of Rawalpindi matches

PSL to give money back for Rawalpindi matches because all Pakistan Super League games in Rawalpindi were cancelled on Saturday due to bad weather. The PCB has shared information about how people will get their money back. for those who bought tickets at Express Centers, they can start asking for their money back on Tuesday, March 12th. They need to go to places with details given on websites during the week. They must show the same ID they used to buy the tickets. People who bought tickets online can also start asking for their money back on Tuesday, March 12th. The money will be put back into their bank accounts used for the booking.
However, if someone bought tickets through a company, only the company will get the money back.

The PCB says they won’t give money back to individuals who bought tickets through companies to avoid mistakes in the amounts given back.
The PCB follows a rule that says they will give all the money back if a match is canceled because of bad weather or unexpected events before the game starts. This ensures that people get fair compensation.

According to another rule, the PCB will give the money back within 10 working days after they receive a valid request for it. They want to make the process easy and fast for people who couldn’t watch the games because of the bad weather.
This announcement shows the PCB’s focus on being open and taking care of their customers, helping cricket fans who missed the games due to the weather.
