Cricket Australia establishes dedicated fan zones for the upcoming series against Pakistan

Cricket Australia has revealed plans to establish Pakistan fan zones ahead of the Australia-Pakistan white-ball series slated for November, promising an energetic start to the men’s international summer.

This exciting endeavor aligns with CA’s Multicultural Action Plan, aiming to promote inclusivity and enhance the cricketing experience for fans from diverse backgrounds.

In order to ensure a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere, CA has designated specific seating sections for Pakistani supporters at each venue.

These zones will include prayer areas and a variety of halal food options to accommodate cultural preferences.

CA had previously announced the introduction of India fan zones for the forthcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

The Pakistan cricket team is set to compete in three ODIs and three T20Is, starting from November 4th at the renowned Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).

After the ODIs, Pakistan and Australia will engage in a three-match T20I series. Pakistan’s most recent T20I match in Australia dates back to 2022 during the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup final.

ODI series schedule:

4 November: MCG, Melbourne (D/N)

8 November: Adelaide Oval, Adelaide (D/N)

10 November: Perth Stadium, Perth (D/N)

T20I series schedule:

14 November: The Gabba, Brisbane (N)

16 November: SCG, Sydney (N)

18 November: Bellerive Oval, Hobart (N)
