Pakistan and Bangladesh are two challenging T20 teams, according to New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson on Tuesday.
On October 7, Pakistan will begin a triangular series against Bangladesh, the Black Caps, and both countries (Friday).
Williamson expressed excitement for the opportunity the team would have to play in the shortest format of the game against two top-notch opponents during the tri-series.
The captain continued, mentioning that there are also warm-up games after the series “This series will benefit us ahead of the mega T20 World Cup event,”.
Mitchell Santner, a cricket player, claimed that the New Zealand team will get momentum from playing Bangladesh and the Men in Green. He continued, “Our team has quality players, and we’ve concentrated on every area.
The series’ opening game will pit Pakistan against Bangladesh, and the championship game will take place on October 14.
