The festivities will conclude with a prestigious sendoff reception in Karachi on June 5, graciously hosted by the British Deputy High Commissioner.
Notably, Spanish Club Atletico de Madrid has a rich history of international engagement, having previously implemented its International Academy Project in Lahore from 2016 to 2020 as part of its strategic global expansion initiative.

Furthermore, the appointment of English football legend Michael Owen as Ambassador of the Pakistan Football League adds a touch of prestige to the league’s inauguration ceremony. Owen will grace the event as the chief guest, accompanied by a distinguished delegation of approximately 25 foreign guests, including influential figures from the football industry such as Mike Farnan, CEO of Redstrike; Davide Gomes and Luis Miguel de Sousa Santos Reis from SL Benfica; and renowned football analyst Mike Alison.
