Meanwhile, Nadeem has secured qualification for the 2024 Paris Olympics.

The accomplished javelin thrower showcased his best performance by achieving a remarkable throw of 86.79 meters.

Exceeding the Olympics benchmark of 85.50 meters, Nadeem successfully crossed the required distance. Although his initial attempt yielded a modest 70.63 meters, he resurged with an 81.53-meter throw in his second try.

The qualifying standard for the final was either 83 meters or a place among the top 12 participants.

The javelin throw final is scheduled for Sunday, August 27.

Nadeem’s rise to prominence commenced with his fifth-place finish at the Tokyo Olympics, an achievement that profoundly impacted his life. Beyond earning fame and fortune, this success brought about a transformative shift in his personality.

Subsequently, Nadeem replicated his fifth-place finish at the US World Championship. Shortly thereafter, he achieved his personal best throw of 90.18 meters at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, marking a record-breaking feat for the quadrennial event.

After undergoing elbow and left knee surgeries in London, he embarked on a rehabilitation journey and resumed competitive events in May at the 34th National Games in Quetta

Despite struggling to demonstrate his fitness there, he clinched gold for his department, WAPDA.

Unfortunately, an injury to his right knee compelled him to miss the recent Asian Championship in Bangkok.

In a parallel development, India’s Neeraj Chopra secured qualification for the 2024 Paris Olympics with an impressive 88.77-meter throw, his best for the season, during the World Athletics Championship qualifying round on Friday.
