Sindh Police have issued their first press release on the Mir Raza murder case, saying a high-level team is conducting a detailed investigation.

According to the police spokesperson, investigators have received two post-mortem reports, including one final report, along with three chemical analysis reports.
The latest chemical analysis report reached the investigation team on August 17. Consequently, investigators are now conducting a comparative and critical review of all available reports.
However, police said some aspects of the reports still require clarification and reconciliation. Therefore, relevant authorities and institutions are being contacted for additional information and verification.

Mobile Phone and Smartwatch Data Examined
The investigation has also expanded to digital and technological evidence connected with the case.
Police said the Punjab Forensic Science Agency has been approached to analyse data from Mir Raza’s mobile phone and smartwatch.
Meanwhile, the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has been contacted regarding matters linked to digital currency.
Police have also approached Apple authorities to unlock the mobile phone as part of the investigation.
These steps are aimed at helping investigators examine digital information that could assist in establishing the circumstances surrounding the case.

The police spokesperson said the investigation team is conducting proceedings every day.
Investigators are relying on technical, digital and forensic evidence, along with other material considered reliable. At the same time, information from people connected to Mir Raza is also being assessed.
The police said the team is reviewing all available evidence rather than relying on a single report or source.
