Security forces killed at least six terrorists during an intelligence-based operation in the Khad Kocha area of Mastung, Balochistan. The operation targeted militants allegedly linked to “Fitna-al-Hind.” Authorities also arrested several suspected terrorists during the raid.
According to security sources, those arrested included facilitators as well as male and female suicide bombers. The operation formed part of intensified efforts against militant networks in the province.
Forces Destroy Terrorist Hideouts
Security forces destroyed multiple terrorist hideouts during the operation. They also recovered a large quantity of weapons and ammunition from the sites.
Furthermore, officials said the operation dealt a significant blow to the militants’ infrastructure. Security personnel continued searching the surrounding areas for additional suspects and evidence.
Search Operation Continues
Meanwhile, search and clearance operations remained underway across the Khad Kocha area. Security forces maintained strict surveillance to prevent any militant movement.
Officials said intelligence-based operations have intensified following recent terrorist activities in Mastung. They added that operations would continue until terrorism is eliminated and lasting peace is restored in the region.
