ISLAMABAD: Safe Mix Concrete Limited cautioned investors about fraudulent accounts, pages, and calls using the name of Arif Habib Group.
The company said fake accounts appeared on TikTok, Facebook and other platforms, while fraudsters contacted Arif Habib Group clients and members to extort money for their fake investment projects.
Safe Mix company revealed this scam through a notification issued to Pakistan Stock Exchange to forewarn investors and regulators about this shocking development.
According to the company, these activities misuse the name, photograph, voice and likeness of Arif Habib, the company’s sponsor and chairman.
Moreover, fraudsters have used artificial intelligence and deepfake videos to create misleading content and solicit funds through unauthorized investment schemes.
Company denies links to fraudulent schemes
Safe Mix Concrete denied any connection with the investment schemes, platforms, accounts, pages or telephone solicitations mentioned in the fraudulent content.
It said neither Arif Habib, the company nor any Arif Habib Group entity has launched, endorsed, sponsored or supported such schemes.
Furthermore, the company said it has no affiliation with callers, websites, applications or social media accounts promoting these claims.
Legal action initiated against fraudsters
Safe Mix Concrete said it published a caution notice on its website and filed a complaint with the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency on September 4, 2026.
The complaint seeks investigation and removal or blocking of fraudulent content. The company said it is pursuing legal remedies.
Meanwhile, investors have been advised to avoid unauthorized calls and online content.
Arif Habib Limited remains the only authorized group entity for investment information and services. Official announcements appear through websites and the Pakistan Stock Exchange.
