RAWALPINDI: The District Health Authority Rawalpindi has announced 1,562 temporary vacancies under its Anti-Dengue Program. The positions will be filled on a contingent paid and daily-wage basis for up to 89 days to support dengue surveillance and prevention activities across the district.
According to the official advertisement, the recruitment includes 62 vacancies for Entomologists and 1,500 positions for Sanitary Patrol staff. The hiring aims to strengthen field operations during the anti-dengue campaign.
Majority of vacancies announced for Sanitary Patrol staff
The largest share of vacancies is for Sanitary Patrol workers. The department has allocated 450 positions for male candidates and 1,050 for female candidates. These posts are distributed across towns, tehsils, union councils, wards, and cantonment areas of Rawalpindi.
Selected candidates will conduct field visits, monitor mosquito larvae, submit reports, and perform other duties assigned under the anti-dengue campaign. Moreover, applicants must be physically fit and available for fieldwork. They should also have access to an Android smartphone, as digital reporting may be required.
The department has also announced 62 vacancies for Entomologists. Candidates must meet the prescribed educational qualifications and experience requirements. Preference will be given to applicants with relevant experience in public health, dengue surveillance, vector control, or related fields.
Interview schedule and application process
The recruitment process will begin with tehsil-level interviews on July 23 and 24, 2026. Final interviews and document scrutiny will take place on July 25 and 27, while the final merit list will be announced on July 28.
Interested candidates must submit their applications to the office of the Chief Executive Officer, District Health Authority Rawalpindi, before the closing date. Applicants should attach copies of their CNIC, domicile, educational and experience certificates, recent passport-size photographs, and bring original documents for verification during the interview. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
