Punjab has expanded its electric bus network by introducing modern public transport services in seven more districts of the province.
The initiative includes the deployment of 77 electric buses to improve daily commuting while encouraging environmentally friendly transportation. In addition, the service aims to provide affordable and accessible travel for residents beyond the province’s major cities.

The newly launched electric buses have started operating in Gujrat, Narowal, Nankana Sahib, Vehari, Lodhran, Sheikhupura and Kasur.
