LAHORE: Punjab Police formally launched investigations into multiple cases registered against alleged drug dealer Anmol alias Pinky and initiated legal measures to secure her transfer from Karachi to Lahore.
According to officials, the Punjab Police Investigation Wing started a formal inquiry into several cases linked to the accused and sought permission from the Punjab Home Department to present her before investigators for questioning.
Authorities said Lahore Police require Anmol Pinky in connection with five separate criminal cases. Investigators are currently completing legal documentation to facilitate her transfer from Karachi to Lahore for further proceedings.
Sources revealed that police registered five cases against the alleged drug dealer in Lahore over the past eight years. On May 14, 2026, DIG Investigation Syed Zeeshan Raza assigned the SP CRO the responsibility of auditing the cases to support legal action and assist in securing the accused in relation to the Lahore investigations.
Earlier, DIG Investigation Syed Zeeshan Raza stated that Anmol Pinkyโs two brothers, Nasir and Riaz, were also named in separate criminal cases. Police registered the first case at Iqbal Town Police Station in 2020, while another case was lodged at Kot Lakhpat Police Station in 2022.
According to the DIG, authorities nominated Anmol Pinky as an accused in both cases. He added that police had already submitted challans before the courts and completed the trials against her two brothers, while proceedings against Anmol Pinky remained pending due to her absence.
Meanwhile, officials are seeking permission from the relevant court to arrest the accused formally. Police have also constituted special teams to supervise and coordinate her transfer to Punjab as investigations into the alleged narcotics network continue.
