LAHORE: The Punjab Provincial Disaster Management Authority has recommended extending school holidays in flood-affected districts as monsoon rains continue to disrupt daily life.
According to 24NewsHD TV, the authority proposed delaying the reopening of schools in affected areas beyond August 20.
The recommendation has been sent to the Punjab School Education Department for consideration, officials said.
