The Punjab School Education Department has announced 52 contract-based vacancies under the Chief Minister Punjab Schools Meal Programme for the 2026–27 period. The recruitment drive aims to strengthen the programme’s administrative, financial, technical and field operations across Lahore and selected districts of Punjab.
The vacancies have been advertised through the department’s Strategic Management Unit. Moreover, officials are seeking qualified professionals for a wide range of positions. The contracts will remain valid for periods ranging from eight to 11 months, depending on the nature of each role.
Wide Range of Positions Announced
The department has invited applications for several key positions that support different aspects of the Schools Meal Programme. These include one Programme Coordinator, one Data Analyst, one Assistant Manager Finance, two Programme Associates, two IT Associates, 13 District Coordinators, 28 Tehsil Coordinators, one Complaint Handling Agent, and three Office Boys.
Together, these appointments are expected to strengthen programme implementation and improve coordination at both provincial and district levels. Furthermore, the hiring process targets professionals with expertise in administration, finance, information technology, data management and field coordination.
Eligibility Criteria for Applicants
Eligibility requirements differ according to each position. However, most professional posts require at least 16 years of education in a relevant discipline. In addition, applicants must possess a minimum of two years of related professional experience.
The Data Analyst position requires candidates to hold a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics or another relevant subject. Applicants should also demonstrate practical knowledge of Excel, SQL, R or Python, along with experience using data visualisation tools.
Meanwhile, senior management roles carry higher experience requirements. Candidates applying for the Programme Coordinator position must have six years of relevant experience. Similarly, applicants for the Assistant Manager Finance post need at least five years of professional experience.
For the Office Boy position, the department requires applicants to be literate and possess at least one year of relevant work experience.
Programme to Cover Multiple Punjab Districts
The Chief Minister Punjab Schools Meal Programme will operate in several districts across the province. These include Bahawalnagar, Bhakkar, Chiniot, Dera Ghazi Khan, Kot Addu, Layyah, Lodhran, Mianwali, Muzaffargarh, Rahim Yar Khan, Rajanpur, Taunsa, and Vehari.
As a result, the recruitment drive offers employment opportunities to candidates from various regions while supporting the programme’s operational needs across Punjab.

Interested candidates must submit their applications through the official online recruitment portal. Applicants are required to upload their CV, CNIC, educational documents and relevant experience certificates as part of the application process.
However, authorities have clarified that applications submitted by hand or through courier will not be accepted. Therefore, candidates should complete the online process within the prescribed timeframe to ensure their applications are considered.
