ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan today turned down request of the PTI to keep secret content of the foreign funding report.
Important to note is that the ECP today conducted a hearing on a case pertaining to illegal funding of ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

During the hearing, the commission has ordered to provide report of scrutiny committee to both the parties _ PTI and complainant, Dunya News.com reported today. However, the representative of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) urged the ECP to ensure that the facts/content of the report are kept secret till the submission of all the replies.
Nevertheless, the Chief Election Commissioner ignored this request of PTI representative saying that he was not in the position to stop anyone from making report public. After hearing, the commission has adjourned the next hearing for 15 days.

Importantly, the foreign funding case of PTI in the Election Commission of Pakistan has become a talk of the town in the country. The decision of the ECP in this case can change the future political scenario in Pakistan.
