Official Visit Scheduled From July 6 to 9
President Asif Ali Zardari will pay an official visit to Kyrgyzstan from July 6 to July 9.
According to sources, the visit is taking place at the invitation of Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov.
President Zardari is expected to arrive in Cholpon-Ata next week. The city is located on the northern shore of Issyk-Kul and is one of Kyrgyzstanโs most famous resort destinations.
The visit is being seen as an important diplomatic engagement between Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan.

Meetings Planned With Kyrgyz Leadership
President Zardari will stay in Cholpon-Ata before travelling to Bishkek on July 8.
During his visit to the Kyrgyz capital, he is scheduled to hold separate meetings with President Sadyr Japarov and Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev.
The talks are expected to focus on bilateral relations, regional cooperation, trade, investment, connectivity, and people-to-people contacts.
Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan have shared friendly relations for years. Both countries are also members of regional and international forums.

President Zardari will also visit the national martyrsโ memorial in Bishkek.
He will lay a floral wreath and pay tribute to Kyrgyzstanโs fallen heroes.
