Royal responsibilities were performed at Windsor Castle by the Duke of Cambridge Prince William on Tuesday as the British Queen Elizabeth II is still recovering from coronavirus.
In an investiture ceremony hosted by Prince William, several citizens were honoured for their service and accomplishments.
The Queen’s congratulatory message was posted alongside adorable photos from the ceremony at Windsor Castle on the official Royal Family’s Twitter and Instagram accounts.

At the Windsor Castle investiture ceremony, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton, congratulated everyone who received an honour.
An investiture is a once-in-a-lifetime occasion, at which a member of the British royal family presents an award in person to people selected for exemplary service to their communities.
They presented insignias to individuals from all over Britain who had been recognised for the good they do in their communities.
