Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, along with a high-level delegation including key ministers, is scheduled to make his inaugural visit to the United Arab Emirates on Thursday, marking his first official trip to the UAE since assuming office.
During his visit, he is anticipated to hold discussions with UAE President and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed.
“The discussions between the two leaders will center on the bilateral relations between Pakistan and the UAE, with a particular emphasis on enhancing trade and investment opportunities,” stated the Foreign Office spokesperson in a press release.
Pakistan and the UAE share a longstanding bond steeped in religious and cultural affinity. The frequent exchanges at high levels underscore the fraternal ties between the two nations.
“The Prime Minister’s visit signifies a significant stride towards bolstering the multifaceted bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and the UAE,” it was further emphasized.
Fazl, the leader of JUI-F, is seeking assurance from PTI to join the opposition alliance
JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has requested a guarantee from PTI to join the opposition alliance against the government. After a meeting with an opposition alliance delegation, led by Omar Ayub, Fazl emphasized the importance of ongoing communication between the opposition parties.
He stressed the need for a united voice on common objectives and urged for a positive political environment.
Fazl hinted at seeking guarantees from PTI, highlighting the necessity of a conducive atmosphere for serious discussions.
