From April 22, during the Eid holidays, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is expected to begin non-stop direct flights to Sydney, Australia.
The first flight from Lahore to Sydney will take place once a week, but it will be raised to twice a week in the future.
PIA’s CEO Arshad Malik made the announcement at a meeting with Australian Deputy High Commissioner Joanne Frederiksen at the Pakistan International Airlines headquarters in Islamabad.
As a result of her efforts, Air Marshal Malik thanked Ms Joanne Frederiksen and the Australian government for their assistance.
He asserted that the addition of nonstop flights between the two nations will improve ties between the two countries’ peoples and governments.
