The candidacy of Shoaib Siddiqui from Lahore’s PP-149 constituency has been officially endorsed. Shoaib will represent a united front between PML-N and Isthekam Pakistan Party (IPP).
In 2015, Shoaib Siddiqui was elected as Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) in a by-election for the same constituency. Furthermore, he has been elected as MPA on two separate occasions, while also holding multiple political roles.
The constituency of PP-149 became vacant when President IPP Abdul Aleem Khan was appointed to the National Assembly, subsequently taking on the role of Privatization and Investment minister under the Shehbaz Sharif administration.
Shoaib Siddiqui is committed to taking part in the by-election, having thoroughly prepared himself. With over two decades of providing public services in this region, Siddique has gained valuable experience and dedication.

WHO IS SHOAIB SIDDIQUI?
Muhammad Shoaib Siddiqui, the son of Mr. Muhammad Idrees Siddiqui, was born on May 29, 1969, in Lahore. He pursued his education at the University of Punjab, Lahore, and completed his M.Sc. in Physics in 1991 and Mathematics in 1993.
Throughout his career, he has held various positions, such as being a member of the Punjab Board of Technical Education in Lahore from 2005 to 2007, a member of the Syndicate at King Edward Medical University in 2007, and a member of the Syndicate at Government College University, Lahore, from 2006 to 2007.
Two articles, “Examination of Gamma through Activity and Radiological Risks” published in 1991’s Science International and “Radiation Dangers from Building Materials” published in 1993’s Arabian Journal of Science and Engineering, UAE, are among his notable contributions.
A businessman served as a member of the Punjab Provincial Assembly from 2004 to 2007 and held the position of Parliamentary Secretary for Information between 2006 and 2007. He was re-elected to the Punjab Assembly for a second term in the by-elections held on October 11, 2015, filling the vacancy left by Mr. Mohsin Latif.
