The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has officially announced its lineup of candidates for the Rawalpindi and Gujranwala divisions in anticipation of the upcoming general elections in 2024.
Ishaq Dar, leading the Election Cell of PML-N, initiated the allocation of tickets for the General Elections 2024, revealing the candidates for Rawalpindi and Gujranwala Divisions.
Under the guidance of Ishaq Dar, Sheikh Aftab Ahmed has secured the PML-N ticket for the National Assembly Constituency NA-49. The PML-N has also nominated candidates for various other National Assembly constituencies, including Malik Sohail Khan for NA-50, Raja Osama Sarwar for NA-51, Raja Javed Ikhlas for NA-52, and Raja Qamar-ul-Islam for NA-53. Malik Abrar Ahmed and Hanif Abbasi have been granted PML-N tickets for NA-55 and NA-56, respectively. Other candidates announced cover a range of constituencies.
In the provincial constituencies of Rawalpindi, PML-N has disclosed its candidates for different seats. Notable nominations include Jahangir Khanzada for PP1, Iftikhar Ahmed Khan for PP2, and various others for constituencies PP 3 to PP 26.
Furthermore, the PML-N has revealed its candidates for both national and provincial constituencies within the Gujranwala division. Noteworthy names include Chaudhry Abid Raza for NA-62, Nisar Ahmed Cheema for NA-66, and Saira Afzal Tarar for NA-67. The party has also unveiled candidates for provincial constituencies in the Gujranwala Division, covering 29 constituencies.
