Familiar figures rejoin the nine-member cabinet.
The recently inaugurated Sindh government has assigned roles to its cabinet members, predominantly featuring familiar figures.
During a ceremony held at the Governor’s House in Karachi, Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori officiated the oath-taking for the nine cabinet members.
The group consists of Sharjeel Memon, Dr. Azra Pechuho, Nasir Shah, Sardar Shah, Saeed Ghani, Jam Khan Shoro, Ziaul Hasan Lanjar, Mohammad Bux Mahar, and Ali Hassan Zardari.
Ministers:
Sharjeel Memon (MPA) – Transport, Mass Transit, Excise, and Narcotics Control
Dr. Azra Fazal Pechuho (MPA) – Health and Welfare
Nasir Hussain Shah (MPA) – Power and Development
Sardar Ali Shah (MPA) – School Education, Literacy, Mines and Minerals Development
Saeed Ghani (MPA) – Local Government, Housing, Town Planning, Public Health Engineering, and Rural Development
Jam Khan Shoro (MPA) – Irrigation and Food Processing
Ziaul Hasan Lanjar (MPA) – Interior and Criminal Prosecution
Ali Hassan Zardari (MPA) – Prison Department

Prime Minister Shehbaz’s 19-Member Cabinet Members takes oath
On Monday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s cabinet was officially inaugurated, featuring a combination of familiar faces and newcomers. The oath-taking ceremony was presided over by President Asif Ali Zardari at the President House.
As per the constitutional mandate, the President of Pakistan serves as the appointing authority for federal ministers, acting on the advice of the Prime Minister. Prime Minister Shehbaz submitted a summary comprising 19 names for the positions of federal ministers to the President.
The summary, reveals that the cabinet will consist of 19 members, including both ministers and advisors. The specific portfolios will be announced in an official notification at a later time.
