The Pakistan Polio Eradication Programme has announced a 28 percent increase in the daily allowance for frontline polio workers. National Emergency Operations Centre (NEOC) focal person Ayesha Raza Farooq said the next vaccination campaign will run from September 21 to 27.
The campaign will cover 115 districts across Pakistan. During the week-long drive, health teams will administer polio drops to more than 31 million children.
