LAHORE: Chairperson of the Punjab Women Protection Authority Hina Pervaiz Butt has assured that justice will be provided to actress Momina Iqbal in the harassment case involving PML-N MPA Saqib Chadhar.
In a statement shared on social media, Hina Butt confirmed that the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has initiated legal proceedings following the actressโs complaint. She also rejected claims suggesting that individuals linked to the Punjab Chief Ministerโs Office were attempting to suppress the matter.
Furthermore, Butt stated that Maryam Nawaz remains committed to protecting women and children. She added that the Punjab chief minister has repeatedly demonstrated this commitment through practical actions rather than slogans alone. Consequently, the Punjab Women Protection Authority expressed confidence that justice would prevail in the case.
Lawyers Reveal Details of Alleged Relationship

The lawyers also appreciated the response of investigating authorities and expressed hope that the NCCIA would ensure a fair inquiry. Moreover, Momina Iqbal and her legal team thanked Maryam Nawaz for taking immediate notice of the matter and directing authorities to ensure the protection of the actress.
