President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump are scheduled to host a reception dinner for heads of state and government.
The event will take place on September 23 at the Lotte New York Palace Hotel on Madison Avenue.
Prime Minister Shehbaz has already received an invitation to attend the gathering. The dinner is expected to bring together several world leaders.
The reception could also give Shehbaz an opportunity to interact with other heads of state and government.
