Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has appointed Syed Ali Raza as legal adviser to the Public Affairs Unit at the Prime Ministerโs Office.
According to a notification issued by the Prime Ministerโs Office, Razaโs appointment takes effect immediately and will continue until further orders.
The appointment brings Raza into a key legal advisory role within the Public Affairs Unit, which operates under the Prime Ministerโs Office.
Syed Ali Raza Brings Previous Government Experience
Raza has previously worked as a legal adviser at the Chief Ministerโs Office in Punjab, adding government experience to his new role.
His previous position at the provincial level gave him experience working within the governmentโs legal and administrative structure.
He will now take on his new responsibilities at the federal level after being appointed to the Public Affairs Unit.
Razaโs International Academic Background
Alongside his professional experience, Raza has an academic background that includes studies at two internationally recognised universities.
He is a graduate of the National University of Singapore and Stanford University in California.
His education and previous government experience will now form part of his background as he assumes the new advisory position.
The appointment remains effective until further orders, according to the notification issued by the Prime Ministerโs Office.
