Pakistani singer Hasan Raheem has reached another international milestone as his hit song ‘Peechay Hutt’ lands on Netflix.
The Coke Studio favourite features the Justin Bibis and production by Talal Qureshi. It now appears in Hollywood dance-comedy film ‘Best of the Best’.
The film began streaming on Netflix on September 18. Meanwhile, the song continues its international journey after appearing in Marvel’s ‘Ms. Marvel’.

‘Peechay Hutt’ features in the soundtrack of ‘Best of the Best’, directed by Lena Khan. The film centres on two childhood friends, Maya and Anjali.
The characters join a competitive Bollywood-fusion dance team at UCLA. Together, they work towards the US championship while navigating friendship, sisterhood and self-acceptance.
Maitreyi Ramakrishnan plays Maya, while Priyanka Kedia portrays Anjali. Hasan Minhaj also stars as Professor Hamza Latif.
The film’s dance-focused storyline provides a fitting setting for the energetic Pakistani track. Its catchy “Peechay Hutt” hook also adds to its instantly recognisable sound.
How the Coke Studio Hit Came Together
‘Peechay Hutt’ originally appeared in Coke Studio Season 14 in February 2022. Since then, it has become one of Hasan Raheem’s widely recognised songs.
Hasan wrote the song, while its narrative was developed by Hasan and Xulfi. Talal Qureshi and Xulfi also contributed to its composition, arrangement and production.
Qureshi additionally contributed to the song’s catchy hook. Together, their work created the electronic sound that defines the track.
The song combines Hasan’s vocals with the distinctive chorus of the Justin Bibis. As a result, its upbeat style has remained popular beyond its original release.
