The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has rejected former Pakistan captain Mohammad Rizwan’s request to hold a press conference, according to reports released on Monday. Rizwan had sought permission to address allegations against him and clarify matters linked to an ongoing inquiry.
Sources said the wicketkeeper-batter wanted to explain several issues and respond publicly to questions surrounding the investigation. However, the PCB did not approve the proposed media interaction.
