Nora is preparing to expand Pakistan’s electric vehicle market with two new models, the NEO and Metro. Both vehicles target urban commuters seeking affordable electric mobility and practical features for everyday travel.
The upcoming models offer a claimed driving range of 250 to 300 kilometres on a single charge. Nora has positioned both vehicles below Rs. 3 million, although final retail prices remain unconfirmed.
Nora NEO Offers Compact Design and Modern Features
The Nora NEO features a compact, five-door body with seating for four passengers. Its equipment includes a 9-inch HD touchscreen, keyless entry, push-button start and a multifunction steering wheel.
The vehicle also offers an electronic parking brake and disc brakes on all four wheels. It has a 2,300 mm wheelbase, 180 mm ground clearance and 175/70 R13 tyres.
These features aim to make the NEO suitable for routine city travel, including office commutes and shopping trips.
Nora Metro Offers a Larger Body
The Nora Metro has a larger body and a different equipment package. It includes touchscreen infotainment, keyless entry, push-button start, power windows and a reversing camera.
The Metro has a 2,360 mm wheelbase and 210 mm ground clearance. It also uses larger 195/70 R14 tyres.
Its larger dimensions distinguish it from the NEO, while both models retain similar mechanical specifications.
Battery, Range and Charging Details
Both vehicles use a 23.1 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery paired with a 4 kW electric motor. They feature rear-wheel drive and a 72-volt electrical system.
Nora claims a range of 250 to 300 kilometres per charge. The company lists a charging time of approximately six to eight hours and a top speed of 70 km/h.
However, actual range may vary with traffic, passenger load, weather and driving conditions. Independent real-world range tests have not been published.
Expected Prices and Availability
Both Nora NEO and Metro models are expected to cost below Rs. 3 million. However, the company has yet to confirm final prices, booking arrangements or delivery dates.
As L7-category quadricycles, the vehicles differ from conventional passenger cars. Buyers should confirm registration requirements, warranty conditions and after-sales support before booking.
