The Consulate General of Pakistan in Jeddah has introduced an online appointment system for NADRA and Machine-Readable Passport (MRP) services.
The new system aims to make consular services easier and more organised for Pakistani citizens living in western Saudi Arabia.
Pakistan’s Consul General in Jeddah, Syed Mustafa Rabbani, introduced the initiative during a briefing with media representatives.
Under the new system, citizens can book appointments online before visiting the consulate. They can select a suitable date and time from their homes.
Appointment Required From October 1
The consulate announced that NADRA and MRP services will be available exclusively through appointments from October 1, 2026.
Appointment bookings opened on September 20, allowing applicants to secure their preferred time slots in advance.
After successfully booking an appointment, applicants will receive an SMS notification along with a tracking ID.
The tracking ID will allow citizens to monitor their appointment status online.
The system is expected to reduce long queues and waiting times at the consulate.
Online Booking to Save Citizens’ Time
According to Rabbani, the new system will make consular services more convenient and citizen-friendly.
Applicants will no longer need to visit the consulate simply to arrange their service time. Instead, they can complete the appointment booking process from home.
Designated time slots are also expected to help reduce overcrowding and improve the flow of visitors.
The consulate said the system would bring greater organisation and transparency to NADRA and passport services.
How Pakistani Citizens Can Book Appointments
Pakistani citizens in western Saudi Arabia can book appointments through the consulate’s online portal.
Applicants can visit appointment.parepjeddah.org to select an available time slot and submit their booking.
The consulate has advised citizens to familiarise themselves with the new system before October 1.
It also encouraged applicants to book appointments in advance to avoid unnecessary delays or difficulties.
