Investigators have uncovered new details about the suspects allegedly linked to the reported gang rape of a foreign woman in Lahore’s Defence area.
According to investigative sources, Ahmed Tanveer has been identified as the prime suspect in the case. Sources claim that the vehicle and flat allegedly used during the incident were linked to him.
Investigators also said Tanveer is the son of a businessman associated with the pharmaceutical sector.
Three Men Named in Investigation
A second suspect, identified as Mohsin, has reportedly been described as a social media influencer. Another suspect, Uzair Umar, is reportedly involved in the real estate business.
The identities and alleged roles of the suspects are part of the ongoing police investigation. No allegations against them have been established as facts by a court.
Two Women Also Under Investigation
Investigative sources said two women, identified as Muskan and Aini, were friends of the foreign woman, Diana.
According to the sources, the two women also knew Tanveer. Investigators allege that they arranged for Diana to accompany them to Tanveer’s residence.
Sources further said six people were present at the flat in Bahria Town on the night of September 27.
Police are examining the movements of those allegedly involved and collecting evidence to establish what happened before and after the reported incident.
The investigation is continuing as authorities work to determine the full sequence of events and establish individual roles.
