What a Shame! Dozens of students Detained for beating up Professor

KARACHI: Police arrested a dozen students, including a girl for assaulting their professor at the Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science, and Technology (FUUAST).

A group of students beats FUUAST Gulshan Iqbal campus Microbiology Assistant Professor Sikandar Sherwani for stopping a female student from taking an exam, according to details.

According to the FIR filed against Ramsha Batool and 19 other students, professor Sherwani was sitting in his office when the suspect student Ramsha Batool and a group of other students entered.

They asked the professor to let the girl sit in on the exam, but he refused because she had zero attendance.

t this point, a group of students started beating the professor and displaying arms on the university grounds.

The professor requested that the girl and other students involved in the incident face harsh punishment from the police.
