The country is getting ready for a month-long fasting period, which starts in a few days. Notably, astrologers predict that the initial day of Ramazan in Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and other Gulf nations might be on March 11.
The potential date for a significant event has been determined through astronomical observations. The Central Crescent Committee is set to make an official announcement after the moon is sighted. Dr. Sharaf Al-Safani, the head of Saudi Arabia’s Astronomy Department, shares that the new moon will be visible for approximately 13 minutes post sunset in Makkah. Following this sighting, testimonies will be registered in the Supreme Court to confirm the commencement of Ramazan.
In a remarkable event after 26 years, Ramazan will take place in the winter season, providing a unique experience for Muslims. Over the next 15 years, the holy month will progress through spring, winter, and autumn. The upcoming Ramazan in March signifies a rare occurrence, offering a distinctive and cooler atmosphere for the month of fasting.
