ISLAMABAD: The US Secretary of State Antony Blinken expressed Washington’s anticipation of deepening its partnership with Pakistan to foster a more prosperous future for both nations.
The US state secretary conveyed his well-wishes to the people of Pakistan on their 77th Independence Day.
He highlighted the US’s appreciation for its 76-year-long relationship with Pakistan and conveyed his country’s robust backing for Pakistan’s economic achievements.
Furthermore, the US official sent his regards to the people of Pakistan “As we embark on a new year of collaboration and as Pakistan prepares for upcoming elections, we eagerly anticipate advancing inclusive economic growth, ensuring energy security, and actively promoting peace and stability in the region,” he further stated.
Blinken underlined their shared commitment to democratic principles and the rule of law, which will continue to steer their partnership ahead.
However, friendship with Pakistan Earlier today, the US affirmed its dedication to its friendship with the Pakistani populace and its ties with the Government of Pakistan.
In a statement, Nicole Theriot, Consulate General of the US in Karachi, extended a “happy” Independence Day to the Pakistani nation.

Moreover, Theriot pointed out that both countries share a robust partnership founded on mutual interests in economic advancement, shared prosperity, and regional security.
