The Army Chief commits to providing a variety of agricultural amenities for farmers in Balochistan

General Munir emphasizes the army’s cooperation with civilian departments, aiming to enhance development and aid initiatives within the province.

General Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff, conducted a crucial trip to Awaran district in Balochistan. There, he received detailed updates on the current security scenario and the Pakistan Army’s efforts to promote socio-economic growth and agricultural progress in the area.

Throughout his visit, General Munir interacted with local community members, including elderly residents, farmers, and families of fallen heroes. He assured them of the army’s unwavering dedication to their safety and welfare. Moreover, he honored the sacrifices made by the martyrs, expressing gratitude for their priceless contributions.

During his meetings with Awaran’s community leaders and farmers, Gen Munir highlighted the significance of agriculture and reinforced the army’s devotion to the Green Pakistan Initiative. He promised substantial assistance to the agricultural sector, including access to resources like simple loans, seeds, fertilizers, solar tube wells, and professional guidance. This aid aims to bolster local farmers in cultivating their lands and fostering growth for Pakistan as collaborative partners.

In a later event, the army chief inaugurated Cadet College Awaran, emphasizing the army’s dedication to education and skill development in Balochistan. He praised the establishment of another cadet college in the province for the locals and assured the Pakistan Army’s ongoing collaboration with civil departments to facilitate development and relief operations in Balochistan.

Considering the significance of Balochistan’s growth for the country, the COAS mentioned, “The achievement of Balochistan signifies Pakistan’s success. The citizens of Pakistan are proud of the courageous people of Balochistan, who have stood strong amidst adversity.

The Pakistani military and law enforcement agencies will persistently provide assistance to the people of Balochistan, working towards peace and prosperity. Upon his visit, General Munir was greeted by the Balochistan Corps Commander.”
