Quaid-i-Azam University Offers Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal Scholarships for Spring 2024

Islamabad: Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) has announced the availability of Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal Scholarships for the Spring 2024 semester, targeting deserving and needy BS and M.Phil students. The scholarships aim to provide financial assistance to students facing economic challenges in pursuing their education.

Eligible candidates for the scholarships include BS students in their 2nd, 4th, and 6th semesters, as well as M.Phil students in their 1st and 2nd semesters. Interested students are advised to obtain the application form from the photocopy shops within Quaid-i-Azam University and submit it to the office of the Student’s Financial Assistance by the deadline of March 24, 2024.

Priority for the scholarships will be given to students falling under specific categories, including double orphans, single orphans, disabled individuals, and those from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, as per the criteria set by Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal.

Applicants must ensure that their application forms are accompanied by attested documents, including the PBM application form signed and stamped by the Chairperson/Director, and the Hostel warden’s endorsement for residents of University Hostels. Additionally, copies of the student’s and parents/guardian’s CNIC, previous academic certificates, and the original fee challan for the Spring 2024 semester must be provided. It is essential for students to retain photocopies of the challan for their records.

It is noteworthy that students with a household income exceeding Rs30,000 and self-financed students are ineligible for this scholarship opportunity.

This initiative underscores Quaid-i-Azam University’s commitment to promoting accessibility and inclusivity in higher education by providing financial support to students in need, enabling them to focus on their academic pursuits without financial constraints.
