PTI looking forward to mend ties with establishment: Fawad chaudhry

On Sunday, Fawad Chaudhry, senior vice president of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), stated that the party is eager to mend fences with the establishment.

The PTI leader spoke to the media and discussed a variety of issues, including Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi’s (CM) vote of confidence.

Fawad told the dissident PTI leaders that they were free to form their own parties and pursue their own agendas and that the Imran Khan-led party would not object.

Talking of the numbers game in the Punjab Assembly, the PTI leader claimed that it was over prior to CM Elahi’s vote of confidence and that they were looking to resolve the matter on January 11 instead.

Fawad claimed that the central government’s only plans for the nation were to ask friendly nations like China and Saudi Arabia for financial assistance.

The former minister of information claimed that the inflation rate for the current week was a startling 31% and that an additional 3% inflation is soon anticipated.

Fawad praised his party, saying it had prevented a crisis in the nation.

He also said that if PTI supporters took to the streets without the leadership, there would be chaos.

On December 20, Fawad claimed that the current establishment is not apolitical.

However, it’s meddling in political affairs has decreased under the new military leadership.

In an interview with a private TV network, Fawad compared the military under Gen (retd) Bajwa and Gen Asim Munir, noting that the PTI leaders no longer receive nearly as many unidentified calls as they did in the previous few months.

Instead, the PTI leader claimed that the establishment always wins in politics.

When asked about former army chief General (retd) Qamar Javed Bajwa’s declaration that the military has decided to become apolitical, he replied that the establishment would not become apolitical based on a simple declaration.
