Prime Minister Advocates Enhanced Trade Relations with Italy for Economic Growth

ISLAMABAD: Caretaker Prime Minister Anawaarul Haq Kakar highlighted the enduring and friendly relations between Pakistan and Italy, underscoring the imperative to enhance collaboration in trade, investment, and various sectors, including migration, agricultural technology, education, and tourism. The discussions transpired during a meeting with the outgoing Ambassador of Italy to Pakistan, Andreas Ferrarese, who paid a farewell call on the prime minister.

Expressing gratitude for Ambassador Ferrarese’s efforts in bolstering bilateral relations, Prime Minister Kakar commended the ambassador’s contributions to fostering economic ties and facilitating cooperation across diverse fields. The meeting served as a platform to acknowledge the ambassador’s role in strengthening the bonds between the two nations.

In return, Ambassador Ferrarese expressed his appreciation to the prime minister for the warm reception and commended the excellent cooperation he experienced during his tenure in Pakistan.
