PM Shehbaz meets injured officers and soldiers of the Bannu operation

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the troops who cleared the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) complex during the Bannu operation.

On Thursday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met with officers and soldiers injured in the recent Bannu operation at the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) complex.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the armed forces’ media wing, Prime Minister Shehbaz praised the soldiers who liberated the CTD complex in Bannu for their bravery and valour.

According to the prime minister, the martyrs and their families made the ultimate sacrifice to protect Pakistan’s citizens.

PM said: “We are determined to fight out terrorism in its all forms and manifestations and breaking nexus between terrorists, their supporters, and sympathisers till achieving a peaceful and stable environment.”

The PM stated that the writ of the state would be established at all costs.

He further added that no one would be allowed to derail the hard-earned gains of the war on terror, which had been achieved through unprecedented sacrifices of the nation and valiant armed forces.

Following the Bannu operation, a Pakistan Army soldier, Haleem Khan, embraced martyrdom when he died from injuries sustained while battling terrorists in the CTD complex.

After some serious injuries, a 29-year-old soldier passed away.

According to the military’s media wing, the soldier was a resident of Hijira in district Ponch.
