the Airport Security Force (ASF) successfully thwarted a heroin smuggling attempt at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport.
An ASF spokesperson reported that Muhammad Shoaib, a passenger, was found with 1.2 kilograms of heroin concealed in his luggage during a routine inspection. ASF personnel acted promptly to seize the drugs and arrest the suspect.
The accused and the confiscated heroin have been handed over to the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) for further legal proceedings. The heroin is valued at millions of dollars on the international market. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the incident.
