Kamran Tessori to take oath as 34th Sindh Governor Today

According to plans, Kamran Tessori will take the oath as the 34th governor of Sindh today (Monday). The ceremony will take place at Governor’s House.

At the ceremony, Kamran Tessori will be sworn in by the Chief Justice of the Sindh High Court, Justice Ahmed Ali Shaikh, at 5 o’clock.

Leaders of political parties, dignitaries, and notables from numerous fields will attend the meeting.

On Sunday, Pakistan’s President, Dr. Arif Alvi, approved the summary of Kamran Tessori’s appointment as governor of Sindh.

Sindh’s governorship has been vacant since Imran Ismail of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf resigned five months ago.

Following Imran Ismail’s resignation, Sindh Assembly Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani has served as the state’s acting governor.

Ismail resigned as governor of Sindh in April 2022, after Imran Khan was deposed as prime minister.

Kamran Tessori is a Pakistani politician, born in Karachi on May 5, 1974. From May 2013 to May 2018, he served as a member of Sindh’s Provincial Assembly.
