In the previous 24 hours, the federal capital has reported 73 more dengue cases, bringing the season’s total to 2,235.
41 of the 73 total cases were reported in the capital’s rural districts, while the remaining 32 cases, according to information released by the DHO Islamabad.
In total, 899 dengue cases have been reported in urban parts of Islamabad, while 1,336 cases have been reported in rural regions.
In the current year, there have been 2,235 confirmed cases of dengue, and six people have died as a result of the virus.
The DHO added that 32 patients were admitted to the PIMS hospital in Islamabad in the previous 24 hours, along with patients from the Federal General Hospital, Holy Family Hospital, BBH Rawalpindi, 5 patients from BBH Rawalpindi, and 1 patient from DHQ Rawalpindi.
