Imran Khan remains steadfast with his loyalists as PTI closes its doors to defectors

The founder of PTI voices concerns about internal party conflicts and national instability.
Imran Khan, founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has made it clear that the party will not tolerate those who abandoned it during challenging times.

In an informal discussion with journalists at Adiala Jail, Khan stated that only a few individuals left under duress during the party’s most difficult periods, emphasizing, “I know who left the party during those tough times.”

Khan expressed deep concern about the ongoing infighting within PTI and the delays in meetings, which have frustrated many party members. He also warned about the rising threat of provincialism, citing recent protests in Punjab over terrorism in Balochistan as a troubling development.

The PTI founder underscored that PTI is the only party capable of uniting Pakistan and stressed the importance of political parties in fostering national cohesion. He called for greater efforts to include and support the Baloch people in addressing the current situation in Balochistan.

Additionally, Khan addressed the country’s dire economic situation, noting that this year has seen the lowest level of investment in Pakistan’s history. With national income declining and debt increasing, he warned that the country is on a path to destruction.

Khan attributed the political instability to fraudulent elections and alleged that secret agencies are working to dismantle PTI.
