During the meeting with COAS Munir, Azerbaijani FM underscores Pakistan’s contribution to regional stability

During his visit to Pakistan, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov extended gratitude to Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir, acknowledging Pakistan’s pivotal role in upholding regional stability.

The meeting took place on Friday at the General Headquarters, as reported by the Inter-Services Public Relations.

Bayramov, who arrived in Pakistan on Thursday, commended Pakistan’s unwavering support to Azerbaijan. The discussions between the two officials delved into various aspects of mutual interest, with a particular focus on regional peace and stability.

General Munir reiterated Pakistan’s enduring fraternal relations with Azerbaijan and emphasized the country’s steadfast commitment to extending comprehensive support and cooperation in defense and security matters.

Additionally, he lauded the professionalism and courage exhibited by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces.

The meeting underscored the close bond between Pakistan and Azerbaijan, reaffirming their shared dedication to fostering peace and stability in the region.

During a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and his Azerbaijani counterpart, Pakistan and Azerbaijan reaffirmed their dedication to enhancing bilateral strategic ties and expanding cooperation across various sectors of mutual interest.

These encompass trade, investment, energy, security and defense, education, climate action, and regional connectivity.

The ministers engaged in discussions to evaluate the advancement of bilateral relations and exchanged perspectives on both regional and global developments.

This highlights the ongoing commitment of both nations to strengthen their partnership and navigate shared challenges together.
