Drugs and Objectionable Videos of Students: The security chief of Islamiya University Bahawalpur arrested

BAHAWALPUR/ISLAMABAD: The Baghdadul Jadid police in Bahawalpur arrested Syed Ejaz Hussain Shah, the Chief Security Officer of Islamia University Bahawalpur (IUB), after recovering 10 grams of crystal meth (ice) and aphrodisiacs from his possession during a car search.

Additionally, two mobile phones belonging to Shah were found to contain objectionable videos and pictures of female students and staff members. Including officials from various departments and female students of the university.

The arrest was made when the police signaled Syed Ejaz Hussain Shah’s car to stop at a checkpoint, but he attempted to flee before being intercepted. Following the recovery of the drugs and objectionable materials, Syed Ejaz Hussain Shah admitted to both _ using and selling ice and possessing explicit content involving university officials and female students.

Furthermore, the Saddar police of Bahawalpur arrested one Jabir, also known as Shaira, for supplying narcotics to various educational institutions. During this arrest, the police seized 5.4 kilograms of charas from the suspect.

According to officials, the IUB spokesperson Shehzad Khalid did not respond to calls or WhatsApp messages. The police emphasized their efforts to eradicate drug peddlers from educational institutions in the region.
