ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir made a commitment that the army will relentlessly work towards resolving Pakistan’s current crisis.
Moreover, The occasion was the inauguration of Pakistan’s first fully automated and smart Agri Farm, Khanewal Model Agriculture, Farm which is a significant initiative under the Green Pakistan Initiative. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif inaugurated the farm, and the army chief was invited as the guest of honor.
During his address, COAS Munir expressed the armed forces’ unwavering dedication to serving the nation with pride. He emphasized the strong bond between the armed forces and the people, highlighting that they are interconnected and mutually supportive.
However, the COAS reassured the nation that Pakistan will overcome its current challenges, emphasizing the resilience and talent of its people. He urged all Pakistanis to unite and reject dependency, encouraging them to collectively throw away the beggar’s bowl.
In addition, he encourages the nation to overcome challenges and embrace self-sufficiency. Recognizing Pakistan’s abundant blessings bestowed by Allah Almighty. The army chief asserted that no external force could impede the country’s progress.
Additionally, In his vision for agricultural development, General Munir expressed the goal of a continued agricultural revolution in Pakistan. He announced plans to establish modern farms, similar to the model farm inaugurated, to benefit small-scale farmers across the country. The Green Initiative will be expanded nationwide to promote sustainable agricultural practices.
In other words, The COAS said the inseparable link between security and the economy. He highlights that a thriving economy requires adequate security measures. In turn, security cannot be ensured without a stable economy.
